Femke Weidema is the producer/co-writer of artists such as Belle Mt, Estelle, Babyface, Bexar, Dancing on Tables, LIEZA, Seth Ennis, Beto Cuevas, Jess and the Bandits, and many more.
She won the ASCAP Harold Adamson award, studied with Lin Manual Miranda for a short summer at Chicago's North Western University with the Johnny Mercer Foundation, worked for Richard Gibbs, Don Grusin while also working at Hans Zimmer's Prestigious Remote Control studios in Los Angeles.
As a musician she sang with Blink 182's Mark Hoppus on the soundtrack for Fired Up, played accordeon on several indie movies, played guitar and programmed on ABC's 10 Things I Hate About You and HBO's Tracy Ulman Show and scored a season of Disney's Binny und der Geist. Her music has been featured in TV Shows such as Nashville and Made in Chelsea. She won a Latin Grammy with her participation on Beto Cuevas' Transformacion album. She has remixed the Oscar Winning score for Three Billboards and is a frequent speaker for industry events such as NAMM, Music EXPO and WIM.
Her productions are swiftly gaining international attention with Canadian, US and UK viral chart mentions and her music has been featured in publications such as Variety Magazine, Billboard Magazine, Mahogany and many more.
She was recently the subject of the Dutch Documentary series "Don't dream, Do!" about her success as a producer in Nashville.
